Recently , you purchased a USB flash drive that you plan to use to store work-related files. When you attempt to store a file on the USB flash drive, the computer displays an error message indicating

You failed to mention what operating systems are involved. What does the work computer use as an operating system. The file system format of the USB may be say as an example ntfs windows while as a hypothetical the work computer could be apple o/s using a different file system or even maybe a unix system. You may need to reformat the usb stick to be the format file system used by the work computer. Also there could be a policy in place to prevent usb sticks working on work computers to protect intellectual property or to protect against virus transferance.

How to erase sd card (pny 8gb)

How do i use my pny 8gb flash drive

You plug it in to a USB port on your PC. It may need to be partitioned and formatted. For example, if it is formatted for a Mac, if will need to be repatirioned to work on a PC. It all depends on what kind of device you are trying to plug it in to.

How do I transfer pictures from my usb flash drive to my pc?

Create a New folder on your desktop and name it anything you want, "new pics" "Pic's from Camera" Whatever. Next. plug the usb/gig stick/flash drive into one of your computer Usb slots,.. a window Should open up with an option of View Files, So View the files, Which should be your pics. .. Copy all and go to your folder on the desktop and paste all your pics.. "IF A WINDOW DON'T OPEN" Click on my computer and you should see a E drive or F drive With files in that Which should be your pic's look and see if they are your pics and Copy them to the Desktop folder for you computer to have them...

My hp laptop doesn't acces my 8gb pny usb.it works on other pc though

Try this: Go to Start, right click on My Computer, select manage. In the left pane click device manager, scroll to Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Delete all of them. System may not allow some to delete, thats fine just delete all that it will allow. Then leave your usb connected to the PC and reboot. OS will reinstall all usb drivers on its own, and it may then see your stick.

I have had success with this camera recovery software named asoftech photo recovery... Download the program http://www.asoftech.com/apr/You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

I would Assume that all your Pictrues are in 1 folder? If they are just copy and paste folder into your 32 Gig Stick And then use Gig stick and Copy Folder out to your Mac air.. Just check to make sure folder size is Under 31 gig's in size.. Hope this helps. BCB...

I want to put info from my Flash Drive to my e-mail to send a resume.

first insert flash on to computer go to divice manager select the usb port u put the flash in , open contents then start your email under compose message select attach it will ask you from where select flash and select resume it will transfer data to email.

How to download somthing on my pny and does not show its on

if you are referring to a usb drive

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems to a computer and its parts once it starts downloading windows will ask whether you want to run or save it a browse option will open you can save it into a folder in my documents or another device or a usb deviceif you need more help with this post a replyhope it helps

Why only 3GB free on 8GB attache flash drive when everything has been deleted

What operating system are you using it on and what file system did you format the Flash drive with? If you are using an OS that has a file system lower than fat32 or if you formatted it with a file system lower than fat32 then that is why It shows less than 8GB total.
