Pen drive not detecting

try loading up a live cd ubuntu to see if its just the os causing it... also see if its in the device manager at all to see if it might be a wierd case where it isnt mounting right then check diskmgmt.msc if its showing up in the device manager to try and mount it then format it then you should be good to go

it might not seem to be detected but try going to the control panel > admin tools and open computer management then where you see storage open the sub menu there and click disk management and see if it shows there if not let me know could be a case of a dead USB drive or that its having a problem being detected at all....l

Plug the pendrive to the back usb port of your pc :D it worked for me

go dos command and find these drive ( pen drive) try to formate it,

It is connecting as usb drive. But not showing as pen drive. what is solution for this. plz help me as soon as possible.

I dont think this problem is due to the pen drive. It may be more due to the system. Check the driver of the system. This may even happen if the system is affected by virus. So try if your pen drive is getting detected in other computers. If yes, then there may be virus infectiond in your pen drive. So run a virus scan and it may help.
