Our Bonaire Evap Cooler stopped after power failure

Our Bonaire Evap Cooler stopped working after power shortage. We reset the codes and now both controls are for our heating and no control runs for the cooling. Does anyone have any idea. Please

Turn the power of to both the heater and the cooler. Turn the power back on to the heater and the cooler at the same time then reset codes on controller.

How do I fix code E5 on Bonaire evap cooler

To fix code E5 on a Bonaire evaporative cooler, which typically indicates a water management issue, try the following steps:
  1. Check the water level in the unit to ensure it's sufficient.
  2. Inspect the water inlet valve for blockages or malfunction and clean or replace as necessary.
  3. Clean the filter and pump to ensure proper water flow.
  4. Reset the unit by turning it off at the power source, waiting a minute, and turning it back on.

You can check the wiring but this looks like an incompatible controller. Here are some alternatives:

I have a Bonaire evap cooler . Bonaire comfort control. It turns itself on and off automatically.

Not sure you have an issue. These machines have built in time delays to protect themselves from power surges. You can’t turn the machine off and then right back on. Read the manual on sequence of operation and possibly get some answers.

Remotes are a pain. Can you get into the unit to see the control box? You need to see if the unit has power. If its new enough it will have some diognostic lights so you can see if it has power. Without that its hard to diognose. Unit Model number is also helpfull. if it looks like the one on this picture it will be etched into a badge on one of the corner pillars. if its a plastic unit it will be on a sticker inside the unit

Bonaire Cooling system that stopped working after power failure..

Unplug the unit or turn off the breaker to the unit for at least 30 seconds. If this reset does not work, the electronics may be damaged and need a repair person.

Vulcan-Bonaire : summer breeze

This unit is a cooling unit only. I don't know what switch you are looking at but I don't think it's for the evap. cooler(swamp cooler). I am in the Phoenix, Arizona area and it's very common to have a evap. cooler and a seperate heat/cool system as on the hottest days the evap. cooler doesn't cool enough. I hope this helps. Please give me a positive rating. Thank you.
