Vulcan bonaire evap cooler with touchscreen controls suddenly not working. Touchscreen not doing anything when pressed.. Have tried what I think to be the reset button on the control with no luck. Have turned the mains power off and on, nothing. I have no user manual but it looks to be model: Touchpad Control (LV) - Tekelek, after looking here: http://www.bonaire.com.au/support/documentation/owner/default.aspx . This looks exactly like our touch screen. Any help/ideas greatly appreciated!!

This unit is a cooling unit only. I don't know what switch you are looking at but I don't think it's for the evap. cooler(swamp cooler). I am in the Phoenix, Arizona area and it's very common to have a evap. cooler and a seperate heat/cool system as on the hottest days the evap. cooler doesn't cool enough. I hope this helps. If shut down at end of season by air con person may be switched off in roof unit. just remove one side and should have switch in unit usually near pump

SOURCE: Our Bonaire Evap Cooler stopped after power failure

Turn the power of to both the heater and the cooler. Turn the power back on to the heater and the cooler at the same time then reset codes on controller.

Please check if the timer was set properly or it was been set to sleep mode. You may also try to disconnect the plug from its outlet to reset everything, then plug it again and turn it ON.
