I heard some sounds like buttons being pushed on my phone while it was in my pocket. Next time I checked my phone, when I push the phone button, instead of it taking me to my phone, I am blocked with ACT! for Palm OS screen, a small app I have in the phone for my ACT database. The screen just says I must synchronize, which I already have. I've gone to Preferences and Buttons, and for the phone icon it says phone with no other option. Yet that's not what is happening. How to fix?

The click is most likely the timer motor moving the dial on the timer. The motor circuit on American dryers is 120 volts whilst the heater requires 240 volts to operate its 5k element. The motor circuit always has the fuse in it. The heating element has limits mounted on it but they only kill power to the element and not the motor. You may need to program it. Here is how you do that, if that is not a fix then you may need a new remote.

1. Remove key from ignition.
   
2. Close all doors.
   
3. Open driver side door and leave open.
   
4. Perform the following steps within 24 seconds.
   a. Insert key in ignition.
   b. Turn key to ON and OFF.
   c. Repeat step b two more times.
   d. Remove key.
   e. Push driver door frame button three times (black rubber button located on driver door frame that tell the vehicle whether or not door is closed.)

5. Buzz sound, chime or doors will lock and unlock should be heard at this point signaling that the vehicle is now in
programming mode. If not, wait 40 seconds and return to step 4.

6. All transmitters need to be programmed at this time, including the old ones. Push any button on the transmitter
two times. A buzz sound, chime or doors locking and unlocking should be heard at this point signaling that the
vehicle has accepted the new transmitter code. If there is only one transmitter, repeat this step two more times
using the only transmitter. If there are two transmitters, repeat this step two more times using the second
transmitter.

7. Push driver door frame button one time. Two buzz sounds, chimes or doors locking and unlocking 2 times should
be heard at this point signaling successful programming.

Poor design and I believe this requires a recall. The problem is the fact that when the phone is closed everyone would think that all the internal buttons become locked, WRONG I found out that all is locked except the power button. So with the env3 all you need to do is unlock the phone by pressing OK (how hard is that, it's the easiest button to push), then pinch and hold down the top left corner of the phone (where the power button exist underneath) you will notice the sound of a button push (which is the sound of the power button underneath being pushed) and bam, you phone turns off. It is more easy to turn your phone off this way then to use the button in front to turn it off. Like most of us, we don't worry about the phone in our pockets or purse, or even in our phone case clipped on our belts and many times we found our env3 unlocked with random numbers on it. That doesn't bother me, it happens with cell phones, what really bothers me is the fact that the power button internally still works when it is closed and all it takes is for you to lean against something or have it in your pocket and pinch that one corner and you will never know that your phone turned off.

Well it sounds like a sound I have heard... forgetting that I had a cigarette lighter in my pocket and having it explode from the heat in the dryer. But you say you heard two loud pops?

Once everything cools down, check again and report back... does the dryer not turn on at all? Does the light come on when you open the door? Does it buzz when you push the start button? Stuff like that.

On the left side of the phone are two button: A rocker button and a push button. With the flip CLOSED, push the rocker button down. you will see Style:Silent. Push the other button until Style:Loud comes up. Push the rocker button down again to exit the function. Open the Flip and use the rocker button to set the Ringer volume. You can set the ringer volume however you want for each style. My phone swiches by itself constantly when I put it in my jeans pocket, very annoying.

Try pressing the reset button on the back.

Also, try cleaning the contacts on the games. Push back the sleeve on the game and clean good with alcohol. If this doesn't do it, unplug it, and clean the contacts inside the unit with a qtip.
