My ipod 80 GB is still hanged , please give the solution.....

    apple ipod 80gb classic hanged, no movement on the screen the vidoe on the screen is freezed, no hold or any button working and the lights are on .

    when cannected to the computer it doesnt read any thing (no new device found)

    please shoot some good information on this ASAP

I can't sync my IPod 80MG since downloading the newfangled iTunes9!
I never heard of Apple putting out a 80 MG ipod touch. You must have one of those cheap China knock offs. The ipod touch comes in three flavors- 8, 16, and 32 GB
If you got an ipod classic 80 GB, then hold the center and Menu button same time until the Apple logo appears.  This will reset the thing for you and you can try re-syncing.  Otherwise, uninstall itunes 9 and go back to the update that was working.  Just cause its a new update doesn't mean you gotta install it.  If your system works, then don't fu.k with it.

Slide the hold switch on and off a couple of times.When hold is in off position press and hold menu and center buttons together until an apple logo appears on screen.connect to itunes and restore.

Continious restart
when it restarts, does it immidiately restart again? like a cycle? that happened to my old compputer, the hard drive was shot. mabe that's what happened to you. a new hard drive for apple classic 80 gb ipod i found was around $150-$170 ouch. take it to apple, ask them to run diagnostics, tell them you think your hard drive is worn out or something.

Hanged apple ipod classic
Stuck or frozen
you have to hold the the menu and middle ong for 10-20-30 secs
hold the menu +center button and it will turn off and reset

iTunes is totally a freeware provided by Apple to help you synchronize your iPod with your computer.
