Forgot enter code

Hi candyparker9 If you have forgotten the code or put the wrong code in your ipod, you can unlock the Ipod by doing the following: Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one Ipod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. If you can't unlock Ipod using either (the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs). . . you can restore your ipod to factory settings using ipod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your ipod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your ipod. If you want to change the primary computer that your Ipod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your ipod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. If you can't unlock your ipod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the Ipod, which will erase all music and data. Please take time to rate me Bud

It wont down load to the music I downloaded to my computer. I maybe doing it wrong, and wanted directions

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Hi, basicly i got my

Normally, you cannot sync an ipod to more than one system at a time. You have to wipe out all the songs that it previously occupied before so that it can accept songs from a new computer.
It is quite normal for all the songs that were previously on it to be flushed out when you connect it to a new computer.
Now to the main issue of getting errors on every song, this is not normal.
The only solution to this is to restore the software using the itunes program.
This will help you format the memory of the device thereby removing any sort of system errors or malfunctions in the system of the device.
Hope this was helpful? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya.

Hello i am tryen to unlock the volume on my ipod?

that is not a problem. follow these steps and you wont have a problem. unfortunately the password for the volume lock is whatever you set it as but you can do this. Plug in your iPod and iTunes will open ( or open it youself)Select all you songs by clicking ctrl and A. (PC's: Ctrl and A at the same time. Mac's: Apple and A at the same time.) Right click your songs. Click "Get Info" Click "Yes" Click the "Options" tab Check "Volume Adjustment" Put the Curser all the way to "+100%". Select Ok! Hidden Folder for Mac's Enable hidden folders. If you go into Terminal and run these two commands all the hidden files appear when you open Finder. defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE killall Finder To get back to hiding hidden files use these commands defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE killall Finder Navigate to the hidden folder named "iPod_Control", and once there click on the folder "Device". Once there, delete the file named "_volumelocked". Eject your iPod. Then, restart your iPod. You can do this by holding down the center and menu button for at least 6 seconds. Once your iPod has rebooted, check and make sure that it worked. Simply go into "Settings", "Volume Limit". If it asks for a PIN, you did it WRONG. Retry the above procedure.
Hidden folders for windows PC Enable hidden folders. In Windows explorer,go to "Tools", "Folder Options". Then click on the tab called "View", and under "Hidden Files and Folders", click "Show Hidden Files and Folders". Navigate ("My Computer" to double-click on the icon of your attached iPod) to the hidden folder named "iPod_Control", and once there click on the folder "Device". Once there, copy the file named "_volumelocked" to a folder on your hard drive then delete it from the iPod. Eject your iPod. Then, restart your iPod. You can do this by holding down the center and menu button for at least 6 seconds. If using an iPod Nano, hold down the center button and menu button simultaneously for about 10 seconds. Once your iPod has rebooted, check and make sure that it worked. Simply go into "Settings", "Volume Limit". If it asks for a PIN, you did it WRONG. Retry the above procedure.
Warning: Note that some methods may not work on all iPods. Not all ipods have the file called "_volumelocked" it is impossible to get better sound on some of the ipod gens, for example the 5g 60-80 gigabyte ipods. Don't Listen to music too loudly. It will destroy your hearing. Don't delete any more files than necessary as it may prevent your iPod from working

How do i unlock ipod nano without code

Hello,

there are two options by which you can unblock the code on your ipod. Follow any of the procedures tomorrow.

Unlock with the Primary Computer
  1. Plug the iPod into the primary computer linked to that iPod, the first computer you synchronized it with unless you have designated another computer as the primary computer.
  2. Open itunes and sync the iPod as normal.
  3. Remove the iPod, following the normal removal procedure. The iPod unlocks automatically as you remove it.
Unlock by Restoring
  1. Restore the iPod to factory settings if you do not have access to your primary computer. This erases all of the data you have stored on the iPod.
  2. Plug your iPod into the new computer you want to be the primary computer. Open iTunes and click on the "Restore" button.
  3. Reload your data, if it is available and sync your iPod. Remove it following normal procedures.
Good luck.
