Ok , i have ATI RADEON 9600 Pro , series graphic card it says on the card i bought it 2 years go , and it costed me 50 $, now i see on internet the price is higher , but im not interested in that , im...

When you bought it the processor and the memory were a step down compared to the video card. Now, they are all completely outdated - some modern game will not run at all the others will run only at the lowest settings and even then at miserable resolutions and refresh rates.
You need a new pc, from scratch.

Computer powers up but get black screen im thinking the NVIDIA graphic is giving the issue. What is the best fix and how to if there is one

Hi. Yes, it could be the graphic card that is having the problem or the LCD it self. Try to torubleshoot the issue first. If you have external monitor, try to plug it to your laptop for us to identify if there is a problem with the LCD or graphic card. If nothing appears on the external monito then these 2 devices might have the problem. you may also try to drain the static energy of the board that sometime cause this issue. Inorder to do this you need to take out the battery and unplug the power adapter then press and hold the power button for 30secs then put everything back in. Power on the computer then observed.

Have a good one!

Slow Company of Heroes Gameplay

What the issue is and the only reason I know is because I have had the same issue. You need to go into the game options and change the graphics to a lower option. Your graphics are set too high. Also before you change the graphics right click on the desktop icon and go to properties and then click on compatibility and then click on run as administrator. If that does not work then change the graphics.

Graphic card??

Vista? that might explain alot. Some games that are designed for older systems won't run well on Vista so it could be that as your problem and speeds are very slow in Vista Systems compared to XP ones and this may be whats causing your lag. Ill give you a Vista Update but due to the system, it won't do much good im afraid. All i can offer is a machine with way superior graphics or a downgrade to windows XP which is not as simple as it sounds. There may be one more thing you can do to help you, increase your Virtual memory which i am not so sure how to do on Vista so Google it, or defragment your Hard Drive which again im not sure where it is so Google it if you don't know. Sorry i can't be of any greater help

hi im wesley. ok your graphics card might be to slow im guessing its a 256 mb card witch you will see most of the latest games now require 512 mb cards to work properly, but go into the game and set all the graphics to the lowest and if it works increase it a little at a time until it starts with problems then go a little lower and play it like that. your problem normally happens when your refresh rate is to hight your anti-aliasing is to high and your memory is to slow.

Graphics card

Probably more RAM, but 900MB means you must have a 1GB card - that's pretty good. 2GB total should be plenty.

Call Of Duty 4, Need SERIOUS help!!!!!!

Hmmm. The blue screen isnt a good think. Even though people say what kind of model a dell computer is, doesnt describe the processor, memmory modules...how much...speed etc.

You need to uninstall your graphics drivers.

Download ccleaner and drivercleaner. Do a scan with both. Do a full driver clean with driver cleaner because it clears the junk out of your registry. Make sure you do a reg backup with both programs.

Now you can restart your computer and install the latest drivers.

the x600 card is a little on the outdated side and can probly run the game on low to medium. Start with 800x600 resolution and turn aniostropic and antiliasing off. Turn everything off that you think is necessary, start the game, and see how it runs. Download fraps so you can see your fps. If you get about 60 than you can turn a setting up. If you get 30 or lower, turn your settings down.

I hope this helps. Please contact me if you need any further advies. I also want to say that you should have at least a gig of memroy and hopefully 2 gigs to play the game at good settings.

Pci-e question

Hi

I am afraid Dell OptiPlex GX260 has no support for PCI-e.

You can however install a half-length AGP (66MHz) graphics card.
