Camera keeps telling me to reinsert the memory card. I've tried to new cards. When I put the memory card I was replacing because it is full, it goes back into the camera just fine.

As a last resort you could copy the full card to a computer and then delete the pictures on the card and use that again.

Here is the error list from the camera manual.
This is all I can suggest from here.

Try to format the drive from your computer, instead of just erasing it. Also, memory cards do go bad too.....some times quite easily.

The good news is they are VERY inexpensive now of days if you do need to replace it.

After slideshow memory stick is missing photos (not on computer)

If you put the memory stick back into the camera can you see them thru the camera menu? If so your computer's SD card port may be having issues. try using the card in another computer or use the cameras USB cable to transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer if it has one. Do other memory sticks work in the computer ok? If you cannot see them in the camera either then the pictures will be corrupted and probably cannot be recovered. Then the card will need to be formatted to erase any errors on the card. Always use the camera to format a card whenever possible...Hope that helps.

No memory space in memory stick

Transfer the images from the memory stick to your computer, make sure the transfer has been successful so you don't lose your pictures, then to be safe put the stick back into the camera and delete them once back in the camera. AGAIN, before you delete anything, make sure your pictures have been safely transferred to your pc and you can view them all. Deleting the photos from the stick will make the disc empty again and ready for more shots to be taken.

Importing data from stick to computer - deleting data on stick

Yeah, all you have to do is delete all the pictures on the card. It's easiest to do on your computer, not the camera. Just put the memory stick back into your computer and find all the pictures and select and delete them. If you've already transfered them to your computer then don't worry about it. If you delete the photos off the stick, they will NOT be deleted from your computer so just go ahead and do it.

How to?.....

You should be able to transfer the images directly to your computer without transfering them to you memory stick duo. Have you tried connecting the camera to your computer and retrieving the images? If you would rather have the images on your camera on your memory stick duo, then remove the memory stick duo connect the camera to your computer, copy the images off of the camera, turn the camera off, put the memory stick duo back into the camera, plug the camera back in, then transfer the images that you just transfered from the cybershot to your computer back to the camera. They should copy directly to the memory stick duo.
