hi,
to change language in your device you have to reset it.
no info will be lost when you reset it.
first make sure the battery is full.
hold on/off button untill it starts up again, this will take more then 15 seconds.
after this you can choose the language you want.
good luck
Call TomTom support. They will walk you through the reloading process to fix your problem. I had parts of my maps missing after a map upgrade through TomTom Home. They said the problem was caused by a corrupt download. After they walked me through a complete reset the unit worked perfectly. p.s.-They're actual Americans in Watertown, N.Y.
go to tomtom.com, go to support, search for reset, select your device do as told. includes fotos of resetbutton and good discription. first make sure battery is full. goodluck.
Tap on your TomTom One screen to bring up 'Change preferences' then scroll right by taping on the right arrow to locate 'Change Home location' and then either enter from 'Address' or 'Recent destination' .
Hope it helps! Let me know how you go.
