I am not sure but if you originated the call you will not beable to leave the call connected. you may be able to put the call on hold until they finish and hang up.

The Avaya 3158-05 does not have a display. It can't show the Caller ID information from the telephone provider. The Avaya 3158-07 PARTNER 18D or the 34D will display Caller ID information if your system is connected to a telephone line. (One of these modules: 206EC, 308EC, or 400EC, is required. If you have a T1 line, you can't get Caller ID.)
It does, But it would depend on the processor and the card(s) that you would have. Do you know which Partner processor you have? What release? and which cards you would have in the system?
All Avaya Partner phones require 2 pair or 4 wires to operate. They cannot operate on only 1 pair or 2 wires. The middle pair sends the voice signal and the outside pair sends the power to the phone.
To pregam a flash key on your phone press feature 00, then press the button you want to be a flash button , then press feature 03.
press feature 00 to exit programming.
If by conference you mean inside and outside parties connected together the answer is yes. You should have a CONF button on the set. You press CONF, dial your second call and press CONF again. You can press CONF again and do it all over again to add a 4th party. There are restrictions and the conference is not amplified.
