There are two user manuals for this phone from hell.
The 102-page "Quick Guide" and the 410-page "Advanced".
Pick your poison, but you'll probably need the advanced. Just search on "attenant" and you'll find what you need.

May the phone be with you...

The extensions in the voicemail group are not programmed. You need to put the ports that the system sees the voicemail, into #505, group 7.

It does, But it would depend on the processor and the card(s) that you would have.

Lucent Partner 34D phone system with 18D extensions

That doesn't sound good at all. I would first try powering down the system and waiting about 15 seconds or so before powering back up. If the problem remains, the processor was some how damagedand would be best if it was looked at by your vendor.

Avaya Lucent Partner Auto Attendant

Nope. You are stuck with that. If you want you can change the button that they press, to say....9 or something...make that a selector code transfer and it wont say "receptionist" any more.

Let me know I can help change the button press....

Which model voicemail is it. It will TELL you when you dial in to check your voicemail, ...."Welcome to Partner messaging" or welcome to partner mail" or "welcome to Partner voice messaging"
