Colours on TV Panasonic TX-32PL10 5/6 years old

Colours faded suddenly on screen; same when playing a DVD. Colours are all present but very faded; green and yellow are predominant. Remote control shows colour adjustment as a red line and no adjustment is possible. All other functions are ok.

If the TV does the same with two different DVD players, it must be a menu setting on the TV. Look through the TV menu options.

When i turn my tv on the sound is great but the picture is very narrow. My tv is at least 8 yrs old.

something similar to this happened to my old T.V, with mine it started to go wrong colours, the screen started to fade, with it being 8 years old, you may just need a new one, they will eventually fully break, so its best to get a new T.V

Panny TX-22LT2 TV - 8 years old. Suddenly has problem with colours turning 'negative'. Problem is sporadic- 'flashing' in and out-gets worse longer set is turned on.

The problem may be the LCD rinbbon connector out of place or a faulty crt board.
A repairman must open the tv and check it out.
If you really want to DIY (at your risk) all you can do is take it apatrt (disconnect from power for 15 mins or so first), unplug LCD connector and plug it back, also hoover dust inside.
