The issue may lie with the door latch; a door switch is used to start and stop your dishwasher. It's a safety feature that won't allow water to flow with the door open. Sometimes I have to push the cancel button on my Kitchenaid and start over and push the selection buttons again. and then push start. Don't know if this will help.

I just started to have the exact same problem, don't have any idea what happened. Started after a completed cycle.

press the "off" button and hold it down for several seconds. this worked for me when i encountered the same problem on my maytag jetclean this weekend. it reset my control panel and now it's working great!
