Can I download Audible audiobooks to my trio touch 4

Assuming you have an Audible membership/subscription, you can download audiobooks to your PC and then connect the player to the PC and transfer the audiobook files from the PC to the player.
tip

Transfer Audible AA files to Droid(X/2), Walkman, Zune(HD), PSP(go), Windows...

Quoted from: Convert Audible AA to MP3

Audible, which enjoys a near-monopoly in the online digital download market for audiobooks, has a ton of audiobooks that can be purchased and downloaded. They also provide a file manager which allows you transfer your audiobooks to a digital rights management (DRM) enabled player, like Apple iPod, Creative Zen, SanDisk Sansa, various GPS devices, and the Amazon Kindle. What do you do if your MP3 player isn't supported by the Audible manager? like Motorola Droid, HTC Evo 4g, Windows phone 7 serise, Creative Zen, Zune, PSP, Sony WorkMan, Blackberry, etc, so if you want to listen to AA files on any device you have, there is a need to Remove DRM from Audible AA format and Convert .AA to MP3.
This tutorial will tell a quick way to easily convert Audible AA to MP3 files (DRM-free).
The Tool We need:
A Audible AA to MP3 Converter Program - Daniusoft DRM Converter, which can easily remove Audible Audiobook DRM protection, convert Audible's DRM'd .AA to .MP3 WMV WAV files for certain devices in batch conversion mode, and finally you can even directly transfer Audiobooks AA files to portable devices, perfectly supporting Windows 7/Vista/XP and more.

Step1. Download and install the DRM removal program - Daniusoft DRM Converter, the main interface is shown as below:

Step 2: Import AA files to the program.
Load AA files by clicking 'Add Video' button on upper left of Daniusoft DRM Converter interface - choose file type as '*.aa' to add files into the software.

Step 3: Set output format.
Choose "MP3 (MPEG Layer-3)" on the output format window, and select the output folder to save the file to after it has been converted. Additionally, if you hope for higher output quality, Daniusoft DRM Converter allows you to set "Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Encoder, Channel " for your tracks via "Setting" option.

Step 4: After finishing the three steps above, click "Start" button, A progress bar will show the status of the conversion. When the conversion is complete, the file is in opened format MP3..

Now you can own the AA sound tracks forever and you can feel free to enjoy your Audible Audiobooks on such as Sony walkman, Zune(HD), PSP(go), Creative Zen, Sansa Fuze, Android phone(Nexus one, Droid(X/2)), HTC Phone(HTC EVO/Desire/HD2/HD7) .

Audiobooks sound like they are being read in fast forward mode. Song are good, just the audiobooks? Can I edit the audiobooks somehow?

Yes you can. Here are the steps on how to edit an Audiobook:

1. Find an audio-editing software which has the editing features you want, and download it. Audacity and Adobe Audition are two popular choices (see links in Resources).
2. Transfer the unedited reading of your audio book to your computer's hard drive (if necessary).
3. Open your audiobook file from inside your audio-editing software. Many audio-editing software programs come with automatic file conversion capability so that when an audio file is opened, it's automatically converted to a medium that the program can work with. If your software doesn't have this capability, you'll also need to download audio converting software. Choose software capable of converting the file type of your original recording to a file type supported by your editing software.
4. Play back and listen to the reading of your audiobook. Stop the playback in areas you'll need to edit, such as a word or phrase you stumbled upon, long pauses that should be shorter, extraneous talking, bodily noises or the sound of paper rustling. You can insert rereads of certain passages, silence or reduce the volume of loud breathing and background noise.
5. Save the reading of each chapter of the book as an independent file. Saving the entire book as one file will make indexing the book much more difficult. If the editing software you're using has a multiple track feature, you can copy and paste each reading of a chapter to its own track and save each track as its own file. If your editing software does not come with a multiple track feature, you'll have to keep a master copy of your audio reading then create a copy of this master. Open the copy of your audiobook and delete the reading of all but one chapter of the book, then save that one chapter. Keep repeating this pattern until all of your chapters have their own independent file.
6. Listen to the edited reading of each audiobook chapter all the way through to make sure that you've performed all the needed adjustments.

Downloading from limewire to ipod

You cannot download directly from Limewire to iPod.
You must download the tracks to your hard drive first then transfer them to your iPod using the 'synching' component of your media player.
I use Media Jukebox but WMP11 also has the capability. Read the 'Help' files for the procedures.

2 problems: recorded music breaking up/how to delete one track?

Hi! Some tracks are breaking up because they are not in mp3 or aac format(Only audio formats supported by ipod). While some tracks are converted by itunes others can't so, downloading a wma to mp3 or aac converter will surely help. You have to first change the format of the songs(from CD) by converting them into mp3 (or aac) format. Then sync these songs into ipod. Deleting any track from itunes library will automatically delete that track from the ipod. You can download that converter from the link-

Audiobook to ipod

That is the problem. iTunes will only allow you to put audiobooks in that section if they were bought from the iTunes store. It's very annoying, but i suggest just making a playlist to hold all the files. iTunes doesn't let you set the type as "Audiobook" for files.

Ipod

First I would suggest you make sure the iPod is connected correctly, and that you wait until the iPod has finished updating.
If you are sure of that, you can always restore the iPod to it's original settings.
(I would also suggest that you are using the most updated version of iTunes)
But before you restore your iPod, there are a few steps you can take to try and fix this problem.
If you can’t download a song or other item to iPod nano
The song might have been encoded in a format that iPod nano doesn’t support. The
following audio file formats are supported by iPod nano. These include formats for
audiobooks and podcasting:
 AAC (M4A, M4B, M4P) (up to 320 Kbps)
Apple Lossless (a high-quality compressed format)
 MP3 (up to 320 Kbps)
 MP3 Variable Bit Rate (VBR)
 WAV

The most common is to reset the iPod. To do this:
  •  toggle the Hold switch on and off ( Set it to hold then turn it off again)
  • Then press and hold the Center and Menu buttons for at least 6 seconds untill the Apple logo appears.
If this does not work I would consider restoring. This means you will loose all your music, pictures, videos..ect. But from it sounds, you don't have anything on your iPod to loose.
update or restore iPod nano with the latest software:
1 Go to www.apple.com/support/ipod and download the latest iPod Update. The update
has the latest software for all models of iPod.

2 Double-click the software installation file and follow the onscreen instructions to install
the iPod update.

3 Connect iPod nano to your computer and open iTunes. The iPod Updater application
opens.
If you’re using a Windows PC and the iPod Updater application doesn’t open
automatically, you can find the updater by choosing Start > All Programs > iPod.

4 Follow the onscreen instructions to update or restore iPod software.
If you use the iPod Updater application and it doesn’t recognize that iPod nano is
connected to your computer, reset iPod nano (see page 45).
If you want to restore iPod software and you don’t have an Internet connection, you
can use the iPod Updater application that was installed on your computer when you
installed the software from the iPod CD.
