Im trying to set up internet for my ipod touch and it wont let me access internet without the linksys password and the model in wrt54gs... how do i find my password

Unfortunately, you can't find your Wireless Access Code of your router without knowing the password to access your router configuration. It is because, you can only see the Wireless Access Code by going to the router configuration page and in order to go to the router configuration page, you should know the router password.

You should reset your router to default. In order to do this, you can press the Reset button at the back of your router for 30 seconds. Then you can try to use the user name "admin" and password is "blank" or password or admin as well.

Reset the router to default....the default username and password is usually on the bottom of the router..then open a web page on your pc and connect the router with a network cable..type 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
Use the generic name and password to logon....once logged in, configure username and password and wifi...once setup..save and exit..disconnect and connect router to internet modem...log onto pc and look for your wifi neteork name..cheers

What i did with the WRT54GS was go to the linksys website, type in the WRT54GS as the product that I own, download the firmware (desktop is easiest). As Rajan said, use192.168.1.1 in order to access your linksys router and go to Administration. Then go to Update firmware. Upload the version (i think 1.52.6) from the desktop and wait for it to complete installation. It will restart your router with all the same settings, but your ipod should work. I tried to get mine to work for almost 3 hours and my ipod was connectin to the router but it wasn't giving the ipod an ip address. With the update, it took 15 seconds to log on...hope this is helpful.GST54GSWRT54GS

Have you seen in the screen the rate, ipod touch only connects to b networking although it can see the g.

Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings.i did this on my touch 3g & it started working!

make sure that internet connection working fine first..if it is connect you xbox via wired or wireless(if wireless, make sure that you connect to your own wireless network and enter the wireless security if there is)...check if you can get an ip address, better set to obtain the ip address and dns of your xbox, if all set and still unable to access internet, access the linksys router setup page by typing 192.168.1.1 on the address bar of your internet explorer, when pop-up for username and password type admin under password, leave it empty for the username. Click administration tab and disabled UPnP. Check if your X-BOX working fine. Hope this help you.
