Hi, If you could answer a few questions for me please. Does the green light come on at all? If so do either of the screens flash? When you plug in the charger does the orange light come on and stay on? Get back to me with your answers and I will do my best to help you. Regards, SOD69

Hi,
This could be for a couple of reasons depending on what exactly happens.
I will assume that by you saying that you have charged it the orange light came on and stayed on until it was fully charged.

When you say it doesnt want to turn on does that mean the green light comes on for a brief moment (1-2secs) and then turns off again or is there no signs of life at all?

If the green light comes on for 1-2secs then one of the screens should flash, if one does then the other one will need to be either reconnected if its become loose or replaced. For a guide on how to change your top or bottom screen click on my name then scroll down to tips and tricks, select view all to see my full list.

If the green light doesnt come on at all then the chances are you have blown the fuse. Again if you need a guide on changing the fuse click on my name and then scroll down to tips and trick, select view all to see my full list.

I hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to message me.

Regards,

My ds lite was working fine then i dropt it (OOPS) now it wont charg the light on the side the oringe one and it flicks on for a sec then it turns off and of cours wont turn on

Hello.
Try removing then replacing back the battery. If that doesn't work, it needs servicing. There can be many causes for that problem.

Um my ds lite tuns on ok u can charge it but when i turn it on the green light is on but both screens are black help me

on the bottom of the DS there should be a little dial next to the volume dial this is the brightness dial , turn the ds on and then turn the dial and keep turning and the screen should appear if this doesn't help then its probably a fault with the screens and will need repairing

My ds lite won't charge.. the orange light appeared blinked

We had this problem with a brand new DS Lite...turns out it was a bad charger. If you have access to another charger, try that first. Good luck!

Ds Lite Will not charge for longer than 5-10 seconds

It might be a defective battery. Try putting the new battery in a DS lite that you know works. If the other DS works with its own battery, but doesn't with with your battery, then your battery is most likely defective.

Or you could take the battery out of a good DS that turns on and can do everything, and put it in your DS. If your DS still doesn't work, even with the other DS's battery, then your DS might be broken.
