Drayer working but no heat

Malber td 600 drayer is spining but no hiting

  • teosablich Jan 30, 2008

    no hot air

  • Anonymous Apr 27, 2008

Same problem: every thing working but not heating. Checked breaker is OK. There suppose to be some type of fuse in the upper drum system, but could not locate such. The reason is technical label problem. In the diagram the the fuse is named differently since its industrial diagram and not an electrical diagram. Possible: Thermal Limiter P# 134120900 or Thermostat safety P#:3204267. Please, confirm finding and respond to: [email protected]

    thanks.

Had the same problem on a whirpool drayer. Get your multimeter and check which heat fuse is broken. Take that one out and throw it in the floor until you have conductivity again. Clean drayer vents and heater. This worked for me, good luck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuFQOuSlzlw

No heat may mean that one side of the 240 volt circuit breaker is tripped or one fuse of the 240v circuit at the fuse/breaker box is tripped. Just replace/reset the fuse or breaker which ever you have.
Dryers will have controls working but not heat if it happens to be that particular side of the 240v circuit that tripped or fuse burned.

Broken belt that turns the Drum. The dryer is a Malber TD 700

This is a make I have never heard of. There are places that say that list them and they lead to nowhere. There is an Asko T700 and I am wondering if your TD 700 is that one under a different name. The manual gives no clue where the machine is made or who to contact.

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1185011/Malber-Td-700.html#manual

https://www.google.com/search?q=malber+td+700+belts

You could measure yours and then ask an Asko T700 seller to measure theirs.

Need service for Malber 1000 heating element..

Hi. Mike here. I repair Malbers in the Washington D.C. area. The most likely problem is not the heating element, but the hi-temp (or "brown") thermostat. They cost about $25 and are very simple to install. A "Torx 1.5" screwdriver (asterisk tip) removes two screws, in back, holding top on. Lift off top, and (from the front) see silver-foil-wrapped heating assy. At lower right will be a small philips screw holding a thin wire "hasp" which holds the thermostat in place. Remove screw and hasp (without dropping in machine!), unplug two "quiik-connect" lugs (orange & red wires) and pull out thermostat to the right. New one slips right back in. Replace wires, hasp, phillips screw and top -and you're done! This is 90% sure to fix. The heating element is only about 5% likely.
One last thing ... when re-inserting new thermostat, you'll have to "wrestle" with it a bit, as the tip needs to slip into a tiny (hard to "find") hole. Keep trying, and eventually it'll fit ALL the way in, so the hasp can hold it. To purchase part, call Joel (at Malber): 800-600-8913
Oh yeah, one MORE last thing... That red wire may be burnt a little, or completely burnt in two. Radio Shack and Home Depot sell "crimp-on" lugs (1/4") like these (female). Trim back the wire, crimp a new lug on the end, and push it back onto lower terminal on thermostat. If wire is too short, of course, add a few inches of 16 guage "stranded" (lamp cord). The same stores also sell tubular "crimp-on" wire-connectors (little blue tubes) to join the old and new wires. May God bless.

Tumble dryer

Can be a few things. Start by resetting your circuit breaker. The dryer motor can run with partial power but the heating element cannot. Make sure your not set to a no heat setting. After those checks you have to get into the mchine to check your heating element and thermostats.

Malber WD1000 Dryer wont heat

I have a bit of experience with Malbers. When the dryer won't heat the most likely cause is the heating element wearing out. See my other posts to the same problem by saerching Malbers problems here. If you need more help, contact me.

Front door will not lock

The door lock may need to be replaced. It is a simple fix requiring only a screw driver. Contact Malber at 1-800-600-8913 and ask for Neil.

Condenser Dryer turns but no heat

Check with multi-meter for power on the heating element's tags (115/220V). If it does get power, you should replace the heating element. In case of no power- you should replace the thermostat. Good luck!
