The DVR will be programmed with an IP Address via the DVR main menu function (network settings) and a valid password. The network viewing software (web viewer) you will need to ensure that the IP address is entered correctly for your DVR along with your valid user password.
Your DVR has a built in webviewer. Connect the RJ45 network cable from DVR to your DSL router. Now the IP address of the camera is all you need to type in the browser to see it.

Question is pretty broad, what specific issues are you having connecting to the internet with your SHR-2162?
This is the link to the user manual for SHR-2162, http://www.samsungsecurity.com/files/product/SHR-2162(P)_User_eng.pdf . It might take a while to load because it is 190 pages. You would need to review Chapter 5-8 and 5-9 (for Network Setup on the SHR-2162 & Chapter 9 Smart Viewer.
You would need to install the Smart Viewer s/w on computer you would like to use and also you would need to setup the SHR-2162 for networking (ie are you using static or dynamic IP?). If you are still need troubleshooting, please ask specific networking questions so that I can help you.
