Crosley ijuke problems

I just got my ijuke one month ago and already it is causing me problems. Every now and then as the songs are playing my ipod shuts completely off, however the crosley ijuke power button is still green. I have to press play on the remote control and then the song continues to play again. I know it is not a problem with my ipod as I play it when I travel and never have problems with it then. Any advice you can give me would be great.

SOURCE: The power went out now it won't turn on.

Look for a fuse or reset on the back of the unit. Check the manaul for their location. You may want to remove the case to check fuses mounted on the board itself. When the power went out something blew. Hopefully it was a fuse. I assume you have tried it at a few outlets already...

Fluid in bubble tubes

The same thing happened to my ijuke the fluid just disappeared. I called crosley three weeks ago the person I talked to said the service department would call me back.I am still waiting...I talked to my sister, she bought an ijuke at target the same day I bought mine. she said that she had her ijuke lights on and the fluid just started squirting out of the top of the tube by the silver medallion and that everywhere the fluid touched it melted the plastic.

Apple iPod nano

OK. Not that I know exactly what your issue is but I can definitely see a problem pattern. Couple of ideas...what are u playing this on...headphones or speakers....change to a different output medium...if you are using the FM transmitter...try it without it...use headphones etc. My thought is perhaps whatever you are playing on is shorted out and possibly sending power back into the ipod causing erratic behavior and/or reboot lockup. Second...clean the entire Ipod (reset to factory) and connect it to a different computer and transfer just ONE song and play it. Let me know about how this works out...i am curious about your issue.

Ipod problem - playing songs in order

sounds like you need a new hard drive, which has a little read-write disk in it that is getting finicky... just to get more use out of it lay it on side or other positions and hear if works ok...if so its diffently Hard drive. you know the sandisks are 2 gigs no moving parts why doesnt somebody put 20 together making 40 gigs and replace the failing Ipods!!??? just pure electronics and no moving parts and much smaller...not like a hard drive. I thought of this over 30 years ago looking at the first plug in video game.
