Whenever the PD-6070 is connected to a PC, it will charge. The battery indicator on the OLED screen will slowly fill over and over as it is charging. When the charging is complete, the battery indicator will stay filled.

I lost my recharger.Where can I get a new one for my voice recorder 802?

From what I can gather, the recorder has an extendable USB plug that slides right out of the recorder. You use that to plug your recorder directly in to a USB port on your computer. According to the directions in the manual, make sure the recorder is in stop mode first then plug it in to your computer's USB port, then press ok on the recorder when promted to start charging. Here is link to the online owner's manual that goes through the details on how to charge the recorder.

How do I recharge my mp3 player? I have lost my manual.

MP3 players are charges with the USB cable. Connect the cable to your player and then plug it into the USB port in your computer. While it is charging you can download mp3 music files to your player.

My MP3 is dead. I have attached it to my computer which should recharge it, but that this not working. Suggestions?

Have you tried a different cable?
Does the USB port on your computer power other USB devices?
The manual says to plug it into USB, make sure your computer is switched on and leave it for at least 3 hours. No other requirements.
Try leaving it on charge overnight. Has it been left umcharged for a while?
One final thought that has caught me out. Are the plugs pushed fully in?

A dead battery is a possibility, how long have you had it, and has the pattery lasting the full expected time?

Will not take a charge. took two charges prior but has now stopped

I found this online at www.sandisk.com under warranty and manuals link.
I believe they have an excellent Return Authorization system, that if you truly have trouble with your disk player and it's still under warranty, gather your receipts and get on line to get an RMA. I have successfully returned to disc players that were infact faulty (FAT problems) and received two replacement players. Get on it right away. Look at the manaul online too. IT can be very helpful. I've included the Battery info, and the link for the manual at the end.

Battery
The Sansa
®
Clip player comes with an internal rechargeable battery. To use the player for
the very first time, remember to fully charge the battery. You can charge your Sansa
®
player through the USB port of your computer, a car adapter (not included) USB port, or AC
adapter (not included) USB port.
Charging
To charge the battery, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the larger end of the USB cable into an available USB port on the
computer.
2. Connect the smaller end of the USB cable into the Sansa
®
Clip player.
3. The computer must be on for most USB ports to charge your battery. Your
Sansa
®
will show connected and the yellow charging indicator will appear.
The battery level indicator will blink while charging. You will not be able to
play while connected to the computer USB.
4. To stop recharging, simply disconnect the cable.
The battery can also be charged using an AC adapter (not included) or a car adapter
(not included) and you will be able to play your device while charging with one of the
adapters.
NOTE: Some low-power USB ports may not be able to provide enough charge
power. Also note that the rechargeable batteries are not replaceable.

Recharging batt. on emerson mp3 digital media player

if your mp3 player comes with a usb charge cord and has no bulge in the cord, such as would contain some kind of voltage modification electronics, then it's ok.
the reason is: both the motorola charger and the usb port are  5 volts, all usb is 5 volts standard, and the motorola charger is labeled 5 volts right on the unit itself.
The the only possible problem would be if the motorola charger was wired differently. However I have been using my razor charger to charge my Emerson 2GB mp3 player w/no problem.
Plug in the charger with the mp3 player powered up, you should see the battery icon filling up just as if you were using the usb charger.
if you are still to worried to try it , then get a voltage meter and test the polarity (weather positive and negative are the same on the motorola charger as the usb cord when plugged into the computer.

Charge mp3player

If there is no removable battery (implying it has a internal rechargeable battery) then the device will charge from the USB port.

Please note : Some USB ports will not charge your device if its power requirement is too high! (EG. like ones found on the back computer keyboards)

Try the usb ports directly on the workstation.

Please don't forget to rate!

Recharging?

This product uses a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery which is charged by usb power. So when you plug it into your Computer or Laptop it recharges with the power it get through the usb port. You can also buy a USB AC Charger for MP3 Players it plugs into your wall outlet and has two usb ports on the bottom to plug into. You can get on at Walmart for about $15.00 called MusicPower
Duet:

There are even USB Charger for you Car as well.

Charging Section of the User Manual
This icon will be displayed at the upper left corner of the screen. The following pictures indicate the
charging status of the battery:
(1) When the battery is charging, the battery icon will be changing from an empty battery to a full battery icon to indicate the process.
(2) The following icon will replace the charging one when it is full but the power supply is not being cut off. Which is a Battery Icon with a Lighting Bolt in the center of the icon.
(3) The player will automatically shut off when the power is used up. In this case, all setting will be
