I can burn movies onto my pc & make a cd ,they don't work

MP4 or AVI files will definitely work but make sure your USB memory is formatted in FAT32.

Transfer your .avi movie files onto a USB stick & simply plug them into the Tevion DVD player.
Select the usb button on the remote to activate & choose which film to play from the menu that pops up.

You mean, you burn the CD in your PC but you can't play it in external CD player ?
Maybe you didn't burned it in "movie" mode, just burned in "data" mode. As you know, CD player can't play .avi or .mkv or other video formats. They only can play movie in .DAT format, and when you burn in "make a movie" mode, the burner will convert your movie to this format so you can re-open your movie via CD player.
Or there is an error during the burning time, if this happen then you have to re-burn your movie into another CD.

First make sure that all of your updates are current, then reboot. If this does not fix the problems then go into your device manager and uninstall your dvd/cd player and your network adapters, then reboot, This will force your system to reload the drivers for the dvd/cd player and your network adapters.

You can't burn a DVD movie using a COMBO drive or Compact disc rewriter, change your movie format from DVD to VCD and then try again, I recommend you use nero to make/edit movie and ImgBurn to make ISO image and burn it onto disc.

If you have a DVD burner you can use the burning software that came with the unit. Maybe "Sonic" or "Nero".
Start the burning software and drag add drop your pictures into the "burn window".

Check your DVD front door to see if it says DVD Writer or DVD ROM.
If it says ROM, then it is not a burner.

Best DVD or CD discs is Verbatim brand (OfficeMAX, best price).

after copleting save it in u r system as .dat format.

then use nero n select make video dvd

I am trying to burn a movie onto a dvd using Roxio easy cd & dvd burning. The problem is that when I do burn it, it burns as a data disc. I try other things on it and it says to use the disc copier application to burn a dvd. I have searched everywhere on this progmram and there is nothing that says disc copier.

First you need a player that plays divx if it does then try downloading the movie onto a different disc the dvd-r have never worked on my player even though it says they will the dvd+r sometimes works its a crap shoot.
