That means the DVD cannot burn anything without fatal errors.
Locate your CD drive in the Device Manager list under DVD/CD-ROM. Right click on the drive and click Update driver. You may need to uninstall the current driver first and restart the computer; this is in the same list.

The wireless switch is actually a button located on the media/power bar under the LCD lid. Look on the right side of the bar, it is the button on the far right, opposite side as the power button. Below is the service and maintenance guide, the picture of these components is on page 9.

This can be caused by a few things. One the heat computer gets hot and flickers. Suggestion: Clean laptop of dust and debree at the internal level.
This can be caused also by a video card which got hot and cracked the solder weld on the internal chip. This is a problem for most laptops when they get hot. There is several places that redo the boards for a fair price. There really is nothing you can do about that accept to replace the board or have it soldered over again to seal up any cracks. The way to tell is hold the PC with both hands and slightly bend it back and forth and see if it shorts out clears up or blinks.

Third this could be also caused by the video cable came loose of if it was dropped it may have jarred the cable plug. The way to tell if that is the case is taking it apart and cleaning the cable input plug with dissolving alcohol and a q-tip wait until dry and re plug it in.

One of the capacitors could be damage or bloated and needs to be replaced. You can also replace the screen as well. So as you can see there are several possible causes for this issue. I would recommend taking it in to a good shop and have them diagnose what is going on with the video or screen. Messing with it without experience can lead to serious damages if you do not know what your doing. Thanks for asking John
