First of all, let me appologize. I have a Averatec 4100 EHI laptop. The computer was only about 15 months old (outside the 1 yr warranty) when the hard drive failed. I replaced the hard drive, reformated, and installed all the drivers from the company- except for the wireless driver. It would not load into the computer. I tried down loading direct to the laptop and by copying the driver on to a disc and trying it that way. I have spent 3 days now trying to get assistance from Averatec Tech Support, but since its out of warrenty, they will not even talk to me with out me paying before hand with my credit card. All I want to know is why their "free" driver download won't work- and I don't consider that question credit card worthy. Do you have any suggestions? Is there another driver out there that I could down load which is compatable??? Thank You Soooo Much in Advance, John Troup
Alright I spent days finding this but it worked for me. I used the drivers for the Averatec 2100 series for WiFi drivers. All the other drivers for my 3200 series worked from the download site at trigem.com

After you've installed the drivers from Trigem, go to your device manager, find the yellow question marks. I did this quick so I can't remember what the options said but this worked for me. I think there should be one "Network Adapter." Right click and update driver. Choose the last option, I think it says select from list? Then you're prompted with other options, choose the last one at the bottom of window I can't remember what it says. You'll see an icon and next to it says "Broadcam 802.11" or something like that. Click on it then click next and it'll install itself and you should be ready to go. Hope this helps. I looked for answers online and got nowhere. Just happened and it worked.
