Blue stripes Our Wega has a blue stripe at the bottom of the screen, which developed a few monhts back, and which appears to be getting wider. Also, since a few weeks ago, the center of the screen appears to have a different color, almost going into pinkish, when compared to other areas of the screen. This problem is on all channels, including all video inputs.

Check the dealer to see if they have a pig tail to wire in. if so the new pigtail should have same wire color for matching up.

The XPS M1330 has no video card, the video circuit is integrated into the motherboard. To determine if the video circuit or LCD display is the culprit, try connecting an external monitor to the 15 pin VGA plug on the side of the laptop. If the display on the external monitor appears normal then your LCD on the laptop is the problem, if not then you need a new motherboard.

it's burning out. that's a sign of tv failing. there is no repair for that if you used it for 5 years, i doubt you would have warranty for that by now, best option is to replace it.

Need more information:
Can you isolate which color is causing the banding?
Is there something ON the lense itself?
Is the projection mirror broken or bent?

I experienced the same approx. 1/2" vertical stripe on a Viewsonic vx1945 and ATI Radeon x1050 video adapter on Vista Business SP1, but the stripe appeared along the left edge of the screen, instead of right edge. I then temporarily decreased the monitor resolution, and the stripe went away. I then increased the monitor resolution back to its original setting, and the stripe did not re-appear. So, that was the 'fix' in my situation, hope this helps.

My 55 inch Grand Wega has developed a blue stripe on the right side approximately 1 inch wide going up about 1/3 of the way up.. Please help..
