So two different devices, each with their own charger, don't work in different power outlets in different rooms? How about if you plug a light into the same outlet. Does the light work? Does it dim when you plug the charger into the laptop? If so you have a bad electrical system, either a loose wire or bad outlet.

For yahoo mail you can click on options in the upper right hand corner then click mail options then press filters then add filter. Then what you can do is name the filter and put the senders email address in the sender part of the form and you might want to check the sender match case box. Also if you wish so you can know when you get mail from that specific person you can also have it go to a folder with whatever you want to name it. Just click down menu next to move to folder and press new folder. Then at the top of the page press save changes and then type in the folder name. Then you won't have to worry about it going to the spam folder anymore. If you need more info just post a comment and I will respond as soon as I get the comment.

You may follow the steps mentioned below to restore the Dell XPS M1330 to its factory default:

1 Turn on the computer.

During the boot process, a blue bar with www.dell.com appears at the top of the screen.

2 Immediately upon seeing the blue bar, press <Ctrl><F11>.

If you do not press <Ctrl><F11> in time, let the computer finish starting, and then restart the

computer again.

NOTICE: If you do not want to proceed with PC Restore, click Reboot in the following step.

3 On the next screen that appears, click Restore.

4 On the next screen, click Confirm.

The restore process takes approximately 6-10 minutes to complete.

5 When prompted, click Finish to reboot the computer.

NOTE: Do not manually shut down the computer. Click Finish and let the computer completely reboot.

6 When prompted, click Yes.

The computer restarts. Because the computer is restored to its original operating state, the screens that

appear, such as the End User License Agreement, are the same ones that appeared the first time the

computer was turned on.

7 Click Next.

The System Restore screen appears and the computer restarts.

8 After the computer restarts, click OK.

9 You will need to run Windows Update as well as Live Update for your virus protection as these will be seriously out of date.

Hope this helps..

The best way to clean under they keyboard is with a can of air, like "Dust Off". If you are wanting to clean quite specifically under the keyboard, (circuit board and all) you will need to start by removing the battery from the computer. Then remove the plastic tab below uncovering the RAM. When you do that you will see 3 screws right below the battery and then 2 under the plate you just removed labled with a keyboard picture. when you remove all of these screws flip the computer back over and open the screen. Using a small flathead screwdriver gently pull up on the edges of the keyboard until it releases. Be careful once its released as there is a ribbon cable connecting the keyboard to your laptops motherboard. You should now be able to clean both under the keys of your keyboard and under the keyboard itself.

posting the stop error code and what you are doing when error occurs would be helpful. If you are getting blue screens and have pixelation of video, artifacting or other Video weirdness, then you may have a defective motherboard. If you have video corruption, and the system is in warranty or if the warranty has expired in the past year, contact Dell tech support for a motherboard replacement.

Try another known working battery in the laptop and see if it charges, if it doesn't then its going to be a problem with hairline cracks in the dc jack on the laptop. The solder points underneath the dc jack if they have hairline cracks in them won't allow the battery to charge. Basically the laptop would need to be taken apart and the motherboard taken out.

If you have soldering skills, all that needs to be done is to put new solder on the solder points that hold the dc jack in place.

If after you do this the battery still wont charge then you know for sure the connector is bad and then the connector would need to be replaced.
