If you want to turn it off - Simply disconnect the remote wire or pull the fuse.

If it is turning off - there is a problem. Thermal shutdown, Grounded Voicecoil or wire, or load us under rated impedence.

Disconnect the subwoofer and power up the amplifier.

Any repairs will have to be from a service center, as repair parts and diagrams are not available from BOSS. The repar may end up being more than a replacement would cost.

I just installed boss bv7340 in my car and it wont turn on i checked the ingition wire and ground to see if i was get 12 volts and i was i dont understand
From what ive seen alot of boss audio equipment are defect. You can try checking the fuses and if not return it and get another. Or another way is connecting it straight too the battery of your car (red and yellow together/positive) (black/ground) if it deos not turn on its your stereo.

I have a boss rt645 2ch 1400 watt amp would this amp properly push a pair of 12 inch mtx terminators.
That all depends on the wattage of the subs. also the independance of the subs. If your amp is 1400 watt, maximum you want is 2 600watt subs. if your subs are higher you will blow your amp eventually as your amp isnt powerful enough to pump out to that level.You should never have your amp fully turned up to max, 80% is perfect and will not make your amp blow. Hense why you want your subs less than the max output of your amp.

Sounds like you are over working this amp for sure.. Upgrading your power wire & battery might help, check your gain level on your amp to. This is not the volume for the amp. Its to get both amp and the cd player on the same page... And most of all if your subs are wired up to .5 ohm stable, see if your amp do the same... My answer to this ?? Upgrade your amp, Boss audio was never a good company to me, but that is my opinon. Audiobahn set up all the way..

Amlifer wont turn on
some amp has glass or plastic fuses along with a pic fuse a little green tear drop shape fuse on the board that plugs in like a fuse, see if yours has one of them if not then I'm sorry your unit is bad.
