Kenmore electric dryer, won't start and clicks by time dry knob

I have a Kenmore electric dryer, model # 110.60902990, that will not start, it was running and just stopped and will not start back, I have took it mostly apart and checked the continuity of most swiches, fuse modules, and they all check out fine. When I push the start button I hear a slight clicking noise comming from the time dry location. Any ideas?

Usually the thermal fuse goes and dryer dies part number 3390719 located in front of dryer on top of the blower wheel housing, when you read anything out you have to pull one of the wires off to get correct reading.also on some of the dryers there is a switch on the pulley that will kill the dryer if the belt breaks

Dryer takes a long time to dry

If the dryer won't takes to long to dry, check the venting. A clogged or partially clogged vent will reduce the air flow through the dryer and greatly increase the drying time.

This may be a thermal overload switch which is probably located underneath the top of the dryer. When you find it, bypass it to see if that is the problem. If so, replace it for about 10-12 dollars. Check the breakers first, then the connections in the back to see if they are secure.
