You inadvertently set your range to "Sabbath Mode". The display actually reads "SAB". This is a feature that allows the consumer to disable certain features of the range in order to honor the sabbath. You cannot defeat it by unplugging the range or turning off the breaker either. You will either have to wait 72 hours for the mode to clear, or figure out how to turn it off.
To turn the Sabbath Mode on/off on your range simply press and hold the "Clock" button for 5 seconds. These instructions are on page 15 of your owner's manual.
If you have questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
Testimonial: "Thank you sooooo much. Instead of paying a service call, we spent all of about 5 seconds and IT WORKS! We don't have a manuel so thanks very much."
Thank you so much for the 5AB solution. My grandmother called me in a panic ststating that she broke her oven. So I asked what is the problem. She said that ththere is some error code on her display panel. She gave me the code and I told her that I would look into it. This was yesterday, In the mean time she has had at least 8 people come over to try to fix the oven. I am just getting around to looking into this matter and here is the answer. So I just called her and told her to hold the clock button in for 5 seconds and see what happens. Well you would have ththought she struck gold. She started screaming "it's working"and thanking me. So thank you for posting the resolution.
