  • brianandstac Oct 21, 2009

no, it happens when we first turn it on. It never comes up when the TV has been on for awhile.

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

    that is a heat warning.

Is your TV near something else that is hot? heater vent, back of refrig, fireplace?

I did not find a reference to airflow restriction in the service manual.
I don't know if this will help, but here are the error codes:

The TV must be in “Shut Down” and not manually switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational
Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to “12” No Error.
Press the front panel “DEVICE” and “MENU” buttons at the same time, and hold for 5 seconds to
activate the Error Code Operational Check. The LED will then flash denoting a two digit Code.
Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.
• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.
• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.
• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.
Example: If the Error Code is “32”, the LED will flash three times, pause, and then flash two times.
• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.
4. Error Codes
The Error Code designations are listed below:
Error Code Probable Cause
12 No error detected
22 Recovery from momentary Reset
32 Lamp Cover open
33 Air Filter Cover open
34 Lamp abnormality
35 Chassis Fan failure
36 Exhaust (Back Cover) or Lamp Ballast Fan failure
37 Engine (DMD or Lamp) Fan failure
38 Excess Lamp Temperature
39 Excess DMD Temperature
41 Short Detected
44 DVI Cable (between Chassis and Engine) disconnected

Honeywell central vac H703a overheats and cuts out after 5 minutes, motor is only a few months old. Plug at insert end is warm, as is the electrical input assembly

It's possible there is a restriction somewhere reducing the airflow. If your model has filters or a filter bag they may need replaced. There could be a restriction in the tubing somewhere which is usually within the walls of your home. Start by checking the amount of suction at the central vacuum unit and at each valve. Don't forget to check the hose, wands and power nozzle too. A restriction is not the same as a clog but a restriction will usually turn into a clog. A restriction can start with something as small as a pin, needle, toothpick, bread clip, etc that gets sucked up but gets stuck somewhere between where it got sucked up and the central vacuum unit. Hair, dirt and debris can start to build up like a log jam and can turn into a clog completely choking off the airflow.

I have a Goodman CLJ30-1. The fan is blowing outside and there is little to no cool air blowing through the vents. Help please!!

Crystal,
Based on the information you have given, I suspect your system is froze up. This is why you have little to no airflow. Turn system off, turn fan on, and give the system a couple hours to thaw out.
You should have airflow at that point. Then call a reputable HVAC contractor.
You either have a refrigerant leak or return airflow restriction.

N2000 clean filter

The red guard goes on top of the foam after it is installed. The purpose of the red guard is to keep the bag from sucking down against the filter when you get a few inches of dirt in the bottom of the bag. If it sucks down against the filter the dirt in the bag will cause an airlfow restriction even though the bag is not full.

Tv turns off by itself

This may be a case of something overheating inside the set---check to make sure airflow is not restricted or blocked---set in enclosed area where it cannot cool.

I have some heat, burners on, is there a way to get more heat air filters clean i dont know what to do

If you are using a pleated or high efficiency type filter, that is a problem, the high efficiency filters
actually restrict a great deal of airflow, a AC unit requires 500 cubic ft per minute of airflow per ton of refrigeration capacity, 500 sq ft of home per ton generally = 1500 sq ft home has a 3 ton unit or needs 1,500 cfm of airflow, both in heat and cool modes, Honeywelll Enalysises prove these filters even when new reduce up to 500 cfm of airflow, effectively making a 3 ton system a 2 ton in output due to airflow restriction, try removing that filter with the fan on, it likely is pulled in sold with a huge pressure drop caused by tj filters obstuctive flow capabilities.
And 755 of all A evaoprator coils have been plugged or restricted by dust , dirt, oils from cooking, cigarrettes, running with no filter etc, a chemical cleaning of the evap coil above the firnace, or brlow it is indicated as a possible issue. Use the cheap 99 cent seee through filters we used to use

Little suction motor on

If you turn on the motor and the bag inflates fast your engine is working fine.

You can have something clogged in the mini-emptor, or the fill tube in the exterior bag which can potentially restrict airflow. Also if your bag is full to the line - that is when the airflow begins to reduce.

Lint trap light wont turn off

You may have an airflow restriction somewhere. Turn the dryer on and go outside and check to see if you feel a strong amount of airflow. Chances are you are not moving air properly there are two sensors that check temps in the dryer one is close to the input and one is where air ejects from the dryer. If the top of the dryer feels hot while running you have a restriction somewhere. Chances are its in your vent line. This will also cause long dry times and could potentially lead to blown thermal fuse in the dryer. Hope this helps.

My old Maytag DE307 dryer gets hot right away, then after about 2 minutes or less, stops blowing hot and goes to warm. Let it cool down, and the cycle repeats.

Warning! To avoid personal injury or even death, always disconnect your appliance from its power source--that is, unplug it or break the connection at the circuit breaker or fuse box--before you do any troubleshooting or repair work on your appliance. Also, because some components may have sharp edges, use caution while working on your appliance.

This is generally an airflow issue. Restricted airflow will cause the hi-limit thermal protector to open and turn off the heat in order to prevent a lint fire, or fabric melt issue. Remove the exhaust vent from the dryer and ascertain that there are no obstruction/restriction to the vent hood, Include the vent hood in your inspection to make sure it has not been crushed or damaged. Make sure your lint filter is cleaned after each load. Do not use fabric sheets as this will place an invisible coating on the lint filter that restricts airflow, (Replace filter). Do not overload the dryer. If your washer is newer, then larger loads are capable of overloading the dryer.
A blower malfunction or worn belts could cause lower airflow issues. Replace if worn.

Hope this helps.

Icing up of my heat pump

Check your filter to make sure it isn't clogged, restricting the airflow. Also, make sure you haven't covered up any of the registers in your home, again restricting the airflow. If the airflow is good, you probably are running low on refrigerant and will need to call in someone EPA certified to check this.
