Red LED on honeywell r6660d
The problem is that the 2 units are "not speaking to each other". this could be caused by low batteries or a loss in signal caused by a powercut or an objection in the way of the 2 units.
first you need to turn the power off to the r666od (or otherwise known as the HC60NG) for 10 secs, then turn back on. then hold the grey button in for 15 secs. release then hold in for a further 5 secs.
go to the honeywell cm61 press the off button. hold temp up. temp down and prog 1 in for 3 secs until the dipslay goes to INST. at this point release all 3 buttons then press the i button until a beacon starts flashing.
this is now the end to your problem.
N.B the reason the green light was on is because the man override button will have been pressed.
hope this helps

Adptive intelligent recovery
On the Pro4000 model you hold the 2 arrows until you go into setup mode. Then arrow up ONLY til you get to option 13. The display will read 13 and 1, press the DOWN arrow and it will read 13 and 0. This turns off Adaptive Intelligent recovery. Now hold the 2 arrows til you see the normal display screen. You are done.
I just did this with a Honeywell tech rep on the phone.

How do I switch the honeywell RTH4300B thermostat from reading in Fahrenheit to Celsius?
To start you have to push and hold the up and down buttons simultaneously until the screen displays "setup" across the top. There will be a number on the left, and a number in the right. Press the UP arrow until the number on the left reads 14, The number on the right should read 0. Press the DOWN arrow to change it to 1. Once this has been done you can press the RUN button to save the changes, and exit the setup screen. Your display will now read Celsius,

To turn the fan off, press the "fan key" until it says "auto". This will turn the fan off. When the programs scheduled, changes, the fan will go on again. You have to repeat the fan to "auto" each time the schedule changes.

Thermostat burning walls
your thermostat may not be made for electric heat, if not then your wiring is overloading the thermostat causing the wires to heat up.

HONEYWELL RTH230B Display is Blank. This
I had blank screen also. I placed my screwdriver between the battery terminal and battery tab and voila the screen turned on. I removed the batteries, pulled the tab out, replaced the batteries, and the thermostat is working like a champ again.

How to Set time on a rth6500wf
Press Done on the thermostat if you aren't at the home screen. Then press Set Clock/Day Schedule at the bottom left of the touch screen. Then use the up/down arrows on the right to set the time. Press Set Day (second from the right on the bottom of the touch screen) then use the up/down arrows to set the Day of the week. Press Done to exit the set clock menu. (Alternatively, press Set Schedule to continue to set your thermostat to your daily schedule.)
Honeywell has the manual available on their site:
http://yourhome.honeywell.com/home/ . Enter the model number in the search box to find the available manuals. See page E36 (28 of the PDF).
I hope this helps.

Remote not workin
what's happened here is the cm61 ng and the reciver box have lost there connection you will have to "rebind" them then it will be fine -
THE BINDING OPERATION DESCRIBED BELOW IS REQUIRED IF:
· Any of the system components (room unit or relay box) are replaced
· HC60NG has incorrect or no binding data stored (e.g. when pre-bound system pack components have been mismatched)
· Interference with the RF signal has caused a communication failure
During the binding procedure keep approximately 1m distance between the room unit and the HC60NG
1 Turn off mains supply to HC60NG for 10 seconds. Re-connect supply.
2 Press and hold the HC60NG push button for 15 seconds to reset previously stored data. The red LED will start to flash at 0.1 s on/0.9 s off. Release the push button.
3 Press and hold the HC60NG push button for 5 seconds to enter the binding mode. Red LED flashing at 0.5 s on/0.5 off confirms the binding mode has been entered.
4 Move the CM67NG slider to the OFF position (CM61 push the OFF button) and press the TEMP , TEMP and PROG 1 buttons together. The CM61/67NG will display InSt.
5 Press the i button to send the binding signal. The red LED is switched off on the receiver box to confirm the successful binding operation. If the red light still flashes push the repeat steps 1-3 and press the the i button until binding is successful.
hope this is helpful
