JBL BP600.1 protection

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Using an ohm meter to the sub will confirm whether its bad or not. Invest in a cheap test set of 6.5" speakers.

CROWN CE1000- slips into fault immediately after connection

if ur output power amp is defective u will have that problem - meaning the moment u connect load across it it will go into circuit protection to limit/stop excessive output current. make sure the speaker terminals are connected to +/- output terminals. in bridge mode use only channel 1 and that too with 4 ohms speaker only otherwise amp will clip. considering all connections are okay if it still clips when speaker is connected, u have a faulty power amp section. this the way ur amp is designed

WASHER STOPPED WORKING YESTERDAY. WAS IN SPIN

If this is a top load model, the back panel does not come off. The whole case comes off. But your problem is either the motor coupler has broken (inexpensive fix), or the transmission gave out. More than likely it is the motor coupler. Disconnect the hoses, unplug it, and pull it away from the wall about 3 feet. To remove the case, you take 2 screws out of the control panel, slide it forward about a half inch or so and it will flip up on hinges. There are 2 clips to remove holding the case on. Unplug the lid switch, then the clips, and the case will lean forward and come right off. flip the control panel back in place and lean the machine against the wall, or lay it on it's back (better). 2 clips hold the pump on, remove them, then unplug the motor wires, then remove the 2 screws holding the motor clips on. Then remove the clips. The motor will all but fall off. You will see the motor coupler. More than likely the pins have broken, or one half has split in 2 pieces.

2 keyboard keys just stopped working yesterday...

You can pop out the key caps along with its retainer clips (plastic pieces underneath the key cap), and then try to repair it from scratch. Here is a link to an installation guide. Hope it helps.

Security Code for Protect mode

Turn on the car so the radio is flashing "Protect." Look on the front / removable face of the stereo. On it you will find a small round hole - that's a reset button. Find a small paper clip, unfold the clip and stick it gently into the hole. The "Protect" will stop flashing, and Kenwood will be displayed. Unfortunately all your settings/presets will be gone, but at least the stereo is working again!

Amp going into protect mode

If you set the gain too high on the AMP, at loud volume levels some clipping or distortion of the output signal will occur. Most amps have a Circuit inside that detects this clipping or distortion and applies protection to prevent damage to the speakers and the amp. It would help to know if you are driving the speakers with a Line level output or using the speaker output from your deck. There are many things that can cause an amp to go into protect mode, and knowing a little more about your setup will help to solve the problem.

Cadence z1200 stays in Safe Mode!

If the subs are rmoved from the amp (wiring), does the amp still go into protection without them hooked up? If no, shorted sub, if it still des, unplug RCA's, does it still go into protection? Also check voltage. Make SURE you have greater than 12 volts AT THE AMP using amps ground to check the power AND remote wires. Hit me back wth an update. Those amps rock.
