Most times cleaning the gears on the auto iris motor will clear this issue. May need to be replaced.

Try adjusting the iris settings down. Your camera's auto iris function may be broken, or the software control for the auto iris might need to be fixed.

open the cover , unplug the flexible cables and other cable connectors, open the mainboard, remove the IRIS motor unit, clean the gear after that put in super lube into the gear.then plug it in again. if the same problem replace the IRIS motors.

that means internal iris system is not working. Open the cover, be careful not to damage the flexible flat connector to the panel control, check iris motor and gear, maybe are dirty, clean all, and put little grease

Check the troubleshooting page for the iris error in the owner's manual of the projector. I strongly believe you will still be refered to the service provider. Nevertheless, try troubleshooting and see how it goes.
