SOURCE: my projector shows an auto

Check the troubleshooting page for the iris error in the owner's manual of the projector. I strongly believe you will still be refered to the service provider. Nevertheless, try troubleshooting and see how it goes.

Hen I connect my projector EPSON EX30, I receive an error message that tells me to power off and contact my nearest Epson service provider. The error message is Error in Auto iris.

The error message you are seeing on your EPSON EX30 projector indicates that there is an issue with the Auto Iris function of the projector. The Auto Iris is responsible for adjusting the brightness of the projected image based on the lighting conditions in the room. If there is an issue with the Auto Iris function, it can cause the projector to malfunction and display error messages.
To resolve this issue, you may try the following steps:
  1. Turn off the projector and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for a few minutes and then plug the projector back in.
  3. Turn on the projector and try to use it again to see if the error message has been resolved.
If the error message still persists after trying the above steps, it is recommended to contact your nearest Epson service provider for further assistance. They may be able to diagnose the issue and provide a solution, which could involve repairing or replacing the projector's Auto Iris mechanism.

Try adjusting the iris settings down. Your camera's auto iris function may be broken, or the software control for the auto iris might need to be fixed.
