Check if the blue tooth protocols are compatible. There are lots of (non compatible ) stacks and protocols.

go to accesory settings and go to manage your blue tooth then put in your pass key

Sometime the blue tooth device deactivates when starting a game try to go in the setting n reactivating the bluetooth device.

to use the pass code for your blue tooth device you must first put the device into discovery mode then most blue tooth manufactures use a factory 4 digit pin pairing code they are as follows 0000,1234,1111,or 9999. i hope this helps

the explorer 230 blue tooth can be paired with the Nokia phone if only the blue tooth tooth device is a universal blue tooth.

Universal blue tooth can work with any phone no matter the model.So check the blue tooth if it is a universal blue tooth, try it with the phone and see if it will work.

go to settings then look for accessory settings and then add a new device.

you want it to get hooked up with the ps3? go to the blue tooth management setting then hold down the power button of your blue tooth until it starts blinking colors, most likely red and blue, then start the scan, after that you should be good, the code for the blue tooth is usually 0000

Registering
1) Go to accessory settings
2) Click on Register blue-tooth device
3) Click on Headset
4) Scan, while holding down the main power button on the headset
5) Enter your 4-digit password. The default is normally 0000
6) Done

Using
1) Go to Audio Options (under accessories)
2) Click "Connect Blue-Tooth device"
3) Change everything from "Do Not Use" to your headset name
4) Done..

OK I FIGURED IT OUT!!! First turn off the system(ps3) make sure that you take the batteries out of the remote. Then when you turn it back on go straight to system setting, setting accessories, setting blue tooth device. AND THEN IT WILL TELL YOU TO HOLD DOWN THE START AND ENTER BUTTON DOWN!. Don't forget to put the batteries back into the remote. It took like 3 seconds.

You have to do 2 things in order to use a bluetooth headset on your ps3. First you have to pair it with the ps3. To do this you go to your setting and register the bluetooth device. Make sure your bluetooth device is in pairing mode when you do this. On most headsets you can simply hold down the button until the light comes on a solid color. once it is in pairing mode you will have to scan for new devices. Once this is done you should see the headset on the list. Choose it and enter your pairing code. If you have not set one it will most likely be 0000. Once it is it paired you will have to change your audio output and input. Go to audio device settings and change the input and output device to your headset name. Enjoy!
