I HAVE A KENMORE 90 SERIES WASHER JUST REPLACED THE LID SWITCH, BUT I'M UNABLE TO ATTATCH LID SWITCH. WHERE DO I ATTATCH THE LID SWITCH ON THE DRUM. I HAVE THE LID SWITCH PLUGED IN BUT CANT MOUNT.
Re: I HAVE A KENMORE 90 SERIES WASHER JUST REPLACED
It mounts to the metal where the lid closes, not on the drum... there's usually two holes where the screws go through... and a third hole where the actuator(plastic post) on the lid goes through to activate the lid switch...

Series 90 is unfortunitly not a model number please reply with exact model number as found on a label on the rim of the tub inside of the lid and i will give you the part number for the lid switch.
remove the top control panel, there are 2 brass colored clips that hold the cabinet on,remove these clips and tilt the cabinet forward to remove it,then you can replace the lid switch
I've had the same problem...you can purchase a replacement lid switch at your local appliance parts store for about $35. Fortunatly, the sales person at the appliance store had diagrams and provided instructions to replace the switch. I was able to finish the job and fix the switch in less than 1 hour. Good Luck.
