JVC XL-MC100m Compact Disc Automatic Changer. I need the cables needed to hook up.

You connect it to the amp as either a CD or "Other" device. Hooking it to the speakers would produce no sound.

clean the lens

Disc is dirty or the pickup lens has dirt on it. Needs to be seen by a Technician to resolve.

There is a "compulsory eject hole" on the left side of the changer. Inserting a screwdriver straight into this hole should eject the magazine unless a disc was partially deployed when power was removed.The last page of the manual shows a picture that details which hole to use.

Take the cover off and inspect for a jammed disc.

If there are no jammed discs you either have a broken belt or stripped gear.

You will have to take the unit apart and inspect, belts are commercially available from electronic stores and are a cheap easy fix!

there are no lights on the changer. It has to be hooked up to a power wire(4-pins) and a controller that is mounted in/on the dashboard with a fm-modulator connected thru the radio antenna. You also need a jvc hand-held remote to turn it on/off and select the cds.
