Hello sir i have a problem that when i click to open any windows my avg anti virus detect threat i.e c/windows/system32/mcicd.dll trojan horse generic9aatd but my anti virus can not solve that problem. so how can i remove that virus from my laptop permanently.plz suggest me.

If this still doesn't work , replace your anti virus . You can try the free http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security_essentials/default.aspx , works fine for me .

I would go buy Notron antivirus because with the trojans it will cause you pc not to operate normally and could damage some of your files.

try to go to windows 32 (windows folder) and manually remove that put.ghura.pl/gc.exe file
Im not sure how you get this..but maybe your AVG is not set right ...cause if it detected it ..it should have been able to remove the damn thing ..let me know how it worked...
I attach a download (privat ) for a AVG 8.5 free and you can try to reinstall the anti-virus..but be sure you are not conected when you do that ...cause between installations you will be exposed..

Check to see if AVG has the option to scan the computer before windows start. I would also download and install a Spyware Scanner and run it. Usually when you are running a Spyware scan it will also pick up some of the Trojans and help your virus scanner detect and clean more viruses. I personally use SuperAntispyware ( www.superanitspyware.com) and SpyBot ( www.safer-networking.org/ ). Do a full scan and delete everything that if finds. If for some reason you are still having this issue, try restarting your computer into safe mode ( by pressing F8 when computer is booting up) and scanning every in safe mode.

First, go in Control Panel, after System, then System Restore, and desactive all.
Restart the machine in Safe mode, and run a AntiVirus (like a Norton) restart again, check the file, if not missing, the solutions is search in web (or in Symantec.com) a Virus Remove Tool, OR, in DOS delete a infected file, for full asistance install a HiJack Free and send a email to me [email protected]

download antivir. google it and download the software. then quarentine the virus to make sure is hasn't infected your system files. then delete the bad file
