My Lg too load washer sprays water during spin cycle

My Lg too load washer model #wt5270cw - sprays water during spin cycle and does drain the water but the time stops and the clothes are left soaked. I tried doing a spin only cycle & it again continues to spray water. How can I fix this issue?

It is normal for a washer to spin and spray fresh water over the clothes during rinse period. I don’t know why it would leave clothes wet. Look at your options. See if you can turn off rinse n spin to just spin.

Testimonial: "Not the rinse period the spin cycle"

Not during the rinse period. It’s during the spin cycle where it’s only supposed to be spinning until the time is done

A washer will spin twice in a normal cycle. Depending on the brand name, the first spin will not spray water. Top loading Whirlpools will spay water on the final rinse period only. The first spin has large amounts of suds and soap. If it sprayed water, it would over load the motor. The final spin has far less sudds therefore better able to extract the extra spray water. Many people think re-spinning a load will drain more water so drying time is reduced. Their wrong because the washer will spray water and spin it all out. You are rinsing better not extracting water better. The last 4 or 5 minutes of spin time, no water is sprayed.

What can cause my LG Front Loader not to complete a cycle?

No spin, try these:

Check the clutch, brake assembly and transmission, one way to check for slipping is to get under the machine after a spin cycle ( this is if u get a lil spin but not much leaving clothes still wet) mix in a spray bottle a lil water and some dish detergent, then spray it on the clutch assembly ( the metal round pc. Connected to the tranny) if it sizzles and steams up then u know its bad and slipping. Another way to check clutch if u get no spin at all? Is to take it out and use ur hand to try and turn the inner spring assembly pushing it around the inside? If its very easy, it BAD should be hard to push by hand.

Next check the motor coupler which engages the tub and tranny to the motor. ( if its bad u usually get no wash or spin or very little of either)

Next check for a loose, worn or broken belt if belt driven.

On some front load models u may need to check the STATOR assembly.
The stator is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the stator burns out the washer won't spin or agitate. Check the stator for continuity. This part is often misdiagnosed.

I have a Maytag Quiet Series 200. In the beginning of the cycle, it makes a weird 'whirrrring' noise that goes away right after the first wash cycle. It's getting water. It's very noticable and I worry...

I have a quiet series 300 and it does that, too. I think it just balances the load before washing and is normal. I found this in the manual:

1 1/2 year old lg WM2496H showed oe error code while washing a heavy unbalanced load. I removed the wet blanket (sitting in water) and tried drain/spin command with empty washer but washer will not go into...

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

LG themselves have some information on this error code..
