Simply the television doesn't support the format of the PS4. Sylvania are not a good television, and it is likely to be older.

On your remote control, press MENU.
Highlight Settings with the down arrow button, then push OK.
Press OK after highlighting Television with the down arrow button.
Select TV resolution, then click OK.
Select HD 720p, HD 1080i, or HD 1080p using the arrow buttons.
Click OK.

This should be an easy fix, on your firestick remote select the home button, then settings then display and set it to automatic this way the firestick will adjust to your TV res.

Have you tried a hard reset? With the set turned on pull the power plug , wait a minute plug back in and power up, how old is this TV?might just be worn out !
