It was very tough to find the actual manual online for your modle in English. However, you can call Delonghi customer support:

Delonghi does have manuals for some models on their site. Take a look at this link, the model might be similar enough to yours to be able to get the information you need.

SOURCE: need new electric cord for model 7000/a lakewood

Depending on handy you are, the power cords for heaters can be replaced, but may require soldering or other electrical and mechanical skills. You MUST replace the cord with one that has the same amperage and heat ratings.....that goes for the plug too.

SOURCE: Lakewood space heater thermostat source

If it is a Ksd31 thermostat you need, you are in luck. I found what I needed for my model 5600/7 on ebay. The store Larksining sells the for as few as five/pkg in various temp. settings. I got 5 ea. in two temp settings for less than $11.00 USD with shipping from Hong Kong.

Reset a Honeywell HZ-709 portable electric oil room heater?

I'm going to ask the first "obvious" question: are you sure the socket you're plugging into is delivering power? (Sorry to ask but it's an Occam's Razor kind of situation) Have you tried a different socket in the same room? Next, does the main power switch for the heater have different settings i.e. high, medium, low, high-high, high-low, low-low and have you tried those combinations? Next, pick up the heater (if it won't hurt your back) and give it a robust shake. Try the power again. Any luck? Keep us posted.

No I never had any luck and the parts likely 1/2 the cost or more of a new one at wal mart and the heat element would still be old too

Leaking Oil from the front

DONT BUY A NEW ONE THEY ARE EXPENSIVE ... THEY PUT OUT VERY LITTLE ACTUAL BTU'S OF HEAT ...IT WOULD BE DANGEROUS TO TRY AND BRAZE ANY LEAK POINTS AND THE OIL IS NOT CAR OIL AND NEEDS TO BE FILLED TO FACTORY SPECIFIED LEVELS. (THESE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE RE-FILLED OR DOES THE OIL USUALLY DIASAPATE). OIL HEATERS OF THIS TYPE USE PLENTY OF ELECTRICITY. I SUGGEST A "HIGH QUALITY, THICK CASED, WITH TILT SAFTY, ELECTRIC SPACE HETER WITH A FAN. THEY HEAT PROBLEM AREAS SAFE AND EFFECTIVELY.
