Lakewood oil-filled radiator heat wattage?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Microwave Ovens category! It all depends how cold you are .Start with low, turn it up if still cold. When you turn them on from cold you can hear about 5 minutes of snap, crackle, pop until the oil comes up to temperature. After that this unit throws out a good amount of heat on the 900 watt and 1500 watt settings.

i went all over town looking for a switch. finally found two lighted switches at grainger carling technology part no. 1A824. ground down the outsides glued both together jumped across top and bottom terminal with copper wire and it seems to work fine now.only time will tell. i hate our throw away society which the junk imported in from china seems to foster.

I have a lakewood heater and there is a diode in

Take that circuit board to an electronics store. A REAL electronics store. The local one around my home town is called L and N electronics. I know that may not be much help, but I've learned by changing board components, that not all parts have multiple applications. I've repaired my own studio/stage speakers and amps, and those diodes and resistors/capacitors are stereo components specifically made for that application. I normally would have to replace 2-5 different components in that circuit also, not just the 1 obvious damaged part. Not sure where you are, so it's hard to point you in the right direction.
