DeLonghi 9707 Oil Filled Radiator Heater Questions & Answers
Leaking Oil from the front
DONT BUY A NEW ONE THEY ARE EXPENSIVE ... THEY PUT OUT VERY LITTLE ACTUAL BTU'S OF HEAT ...IT WOULD BE DANGEROUS TO TRY AND BRAZE ANY LEAK POINTS AND THE OIL IS NOT CAR OIL AND NEEDS TO BE FILLED TO FACTORY SPECIFIED LEVELS. (THESE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE RE-FILLED OR DOES THE OIL USUALLY DIASAPATE). OIL HEATERS OF THIS TYPE USE PLENTY OF ELECTRICITY. I SUGGEST A "HIGH QUALITY, THICK CASED, WITH TILT SAFTY, ELECTRIC SPACE HETER WITH A FAN. THEY HEAT PROBLEM AREAS SAFE AND EFFECTIVELY.
Oil heater not working
At the bottom, white is on the right; red is on the left and the black is between them at the bottom. At the top the double black wire is on the right and the other, single black wire goes on the left. Mine needed a little lifting of the metal strip that needs to make contact at the other point for the power to flow through. Turning the numbered dial towards 6 or 1, respectively, should raise or lower the contact point to or away from its opposite contact point, to which I resumed this proper functioning after manipulating the metal strip a bit.
Burning smell from oil heater
Pull the controls off the front, and inspect the thermostat connections to see if they are burned up,also the other switches will do the same thing. If you can`t see a problem, then the element is burned out, throw it away and buy a new one.
How to i get th case of a delonghi model pacan125hpec open?
:To open the case of a DeLonghi model PACAN125HPEC, locate the screws on the back of the unit and remove them. Once the screws are removed, carefully lift the back panel, being careful not to damage any of the internal components. The case should then open and you can access the internal components.
Delonghi hifi heater keeps beeping control board green light
So, it sounds like your Delonghi hifi heater is giving you some trouble, man. The constant beeping and the green light on the control board, it's like it's trying to tell you something. My guess is that there's something funky going on with the thermostat. The beeping is probably the heater's way of saying it can't maintain the desired temperature because the thermostat isn't working properly. And the green light, it's like the heater is still getting power and trying to do its thing, but the thermostat is holding it back.
One thing you could try is checking the thermostat settings and making sure they're all good to go. If the settings are chill, but the problem persists, it might be time for a new thermostat. You could also try unplugging the heater for a bit and then plugging it back in, see if that helps reset the system.
If all else fails, it's best to reach out to Delonghi's customer service or maybe even a professional technician to take a look and give it a tune-up. It's not always easy to fix these things ourselves, so don't be afraid to ask for help.
