You can reset the D-Link router to the factory default by :-
Powering up the router and pressing the reset button at the back of the router nest to the power socket.
open your browser and in the URL address box type in :-
http://192.168.0.1
The default login is admin and the password is left blank.

You are the only person who can reset your password. When you are unable to log in there should be an option to recover your password, reset your password, or a "forgot your password" link.
