Instruction manual
Does the SD card have enough room / is it fast enough for video?
(the E30 records Standard def video so it should be OK)
Do you get any error messages at all?
Does it allow you to record video and then fail, or can you not activate recording in the first place?

hi ross-on-hill , i have the same problem what i do now is that i view my videos in Quick time player as default now i can view all my videos,hope this helped,at least you can watch them.

Not long ago camera's, computer's etc could not imagine a file or a memory device larger that 2Gigs. Making files in 2 gig sections was the workaround. If this is a newer model, this should not be a problem.

I have the Pentax Optio E30, is there a way that i can copy the pics from the internal memory card to a removable disc?

DVD R/W's need to be erased first before you can record again.

SD memory prohibits functioning of Pentax E30

I know that usually, you should format the card for the camera that your going to use. Try formating it in the camera and see if that works. Let me know if I can do anything else for you,

hi cacrom3,when you slide the battery compartment open the memory card is be side the batterys just push it down and let it go it should pop up so you can grab it.

Pentax W10 won't download videos only still pictures

Movies need MPEG decoder and a movie program
If you are in XP/Vista try reading the file in MovieMaker
go to Start/programs/accessories
