Machine stops several times shows F1 code

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced .

yep electronis control board in the console is bad.

the machine needs to be rebooted. Unplug the machine for at least 10 min then plug back in and push pause or stop 2 time.

Moister can get in between the contacts,is it in a high moister environment? Try using a hair dryer on the panel to dry it out.Also unplug it to reset.

repl/ main control board reason for error code F 1 ,,,nothing else

I just finished installing my new control unit for my Kenmore Oasis and my F1 problems are GONE! I ordered it from Sears Direct Parts. With shipping and taxes it came out to about $174 for the part, but our issues are gone and now we can wash a load of clothes without having to reset it several times.
