No fuse unless an electronic fuse on control board, check your element continuity, then the hi-limit switch then any cycling switches for proper continuity and operation

no, either the heat element, the hi-limit switch,or your missing one leg of your 240 volt input power and now only have 120 volts to unit

Roper dryer takes 2 cycles to dry clothes. How do I look at the heating element? OR since it is still heating, just not quickly enough, could it be something else? OR does it have 2 heating elements?

First of all, unplug the unit before working on it. Be careful inside a fuse box, dangerous voltages. It's usually safe to change fuses or flip a breaker so long as your not in a wet location. Most dryers run the heating element on 220 volts, meaning you can either have one larger breaker or you could have 2 smaller breakers or fuses. If that is the case, possibly one of these breaker "legs" has tripped. Check that first. I would sooner think one of the heating elements are open or "not heating". I would look up the Roper Model number and search for the heating elements section. Some do have a thermal fuse but I think that would cause both elements to quit. Admiral dryer won't heat. Fuses have continuity. Does run though. Heating element has continuity as well. Have both legs of power going in.

Check the high limit switches next to the drum and element. they are around the size of a quarter dollar, about one and a half inches. check continuity.

My Samsung electric dryer runs but doesn't get hot

Clothes dryers usually have one of three issues when they fail to heat.
Taking a good electrical meter ( with ohms readings), check first the heating element.
If it checks good, then try all of the thermostats and the fuse. (There may be as many as 5 thermostats.)
You will need to unplug the wires off of each of these items that you are testing before you test them.
Whilst you are looking, be sure to test the two hot leads from the circuit breaker box, because one of the two hot lugs is for the machine operation, one is for the heating element.
God bless your efforts.

Lg dlex7177wm heating element

If the dryer doesn't heat, but the drum turns, check the thermal fuse(s). The thermal fuse protects the dryer from overheating and helps to prevent fires. If the thermal fuse is blown, it will have to be replaced.
If the dryer doesn't heat, the element assembly should be checked for continuity. The heating element assembly cannot be repaired and must be replaced if defective.
This is a specialised job and should only be attempted by technically competent persons.

WON'T HEAT AT ALL

check fuse, may need a thermostat, motor switch or a heating element. Check the heating element first. You need a voltage meter to do this. And hopefully the dryer is plugged into 240 electric

Will not heat

Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.

No heat on dryer just air.

Check the following to address this issue.

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. An electric dryer uses two circuit breakers or fuses, and if only one of two is tripped or blown, the dryer might still run but not heat. Sometimes the power cord disconnects or burns at the dryer, if this is the case, the wiring and the terminal block must be repaired or replaced.

2. Heating element
A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

3. Thermal fuse
