I have a DN-C550R. I've made a compilation CD that is 79.23 minutes. I want to make a copy of it but, when I try, the machine wants to add extra seconds between songs, so it becomes too long for the...

There is a setting if your using ITunes that you have to change under preferences that eliminates that option. Just go in and look in your recording options and unclick "add 2 seconds between songs" option

My denon c550r won't record (unit is set on duel, input is coax, using correct disk) I press record the display appears as if going to record but it switches back to "blank disk"

first off, if machine is set to dual, then its trying to record from the other disc side. You need to have it set to your coax input. Also if your trying to copy a disc, not all of them allow that option. If this doesnt help, go to MusiciansBuy.com. Can get help with any audio componants there

Place a blank CD-R into the tray on the right side and allow the DN-C550R recognize it as a blank cd and prepare it for recording. Now you can record. Is that what you're looking for?

Here is what I grabbed from the manual.
The message Dig.Unlock Means:
"There is an incomplete connection of the digital input jack during
