Sometimes there's a pinhole in the cover of the CD player. A straightened paperclip can be inserted into that hole to force the door open. As you press the clip straight into the hole the door is forced outwards.

Removing disc

You can find the eject icon (up arrow with line underneath) on the far-left of the area atop the CD/DVD slot where the playback controls and power button are found. You can also eject the disc by left-clicking Start > Computer > right-clicking CD Drive > left-clicking Eject.

How to eject dvd disk samsung laptop no eject button?

There are two ways toopen the CD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work.
Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject.
If this does not work then you can manually open the CD drive tray by -
Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drivetray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive traypops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CDdisc.
If you continue having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD driveis faulty and needs replacing.

  1. Turn off the power to the computer.

DVD won't eject cd

Seems to be a hardware failure, last thing to try before throwing it out, is right click on my computer>properties>Hardware Tab>Device manager Tab. Next click the '+' sign on DVD/CDROM Drives, highlight your DVD RW and right click then uninstal. Re-boot your pc and let windows find and re install your drive. This should sort it; if not it's down to using a pin in the tiny hole at front of drive to eject manually. Your Ratings are important
