There are shipping anchors that hold the drum steady when it is being moved. IF you don't take those out, when the load is no balanced the drum cannot float like it is supposed to and balance the load. IF those anchors are all out of the machine then it may be an issue with the springs or struts being loose, left out at the factory etc.

SOURCE: Electrolux/Simpson EZI sensor 5.5 kg machine cycles.

Well I'm an idiot. They did say there was a fast wash, but it specified that it was for extra rinses to help people with detergent allergy etc., but did not give a time for the cycle. They should have said it was the short wash for everyone. I tried it, and it was fine. Thanks anyway. If I ever have a real problem, I'll be back.

SOURCE: Very noisy on spin cycle only

Hi, please describe the type of noise you are hearing. If it is a grinding type noise, it is likely to be the drum bearing.

SOURCE: cannot open the front door

I really did not fix the problem. I think the plastic linkage may have been broken and I was looking for a fixto open the door.

Thanks anyway,

It only wash & don't spin? Then it stops and leak water by the door....

LG Washer & Dryer 7 (WD12331AD)
Its is a direct drive front loader with 7kg capacity for washing and 3.5kg capacity for drying.

when new
thats 7 kg with wet clothes and water
and only 3.5 kg wet clothes to dry

the older it gets the less weight it can wash and dry

worn motor or drum overload if it doesnt want to spin at all

leak at the door . replace the door seal ..is a most common fix

extra info
It has 9 preset settings, 400 - 1200 RPM, 5 temperature settings, digital display and delayed start timer.

Washer does not spin when entering spin cycle. Counter just counts down with no spin action. Electrolux AWF 1373 1300 Tours XC 7 KG

Hi.
Parts such as drain system, drain pump, pressure switch, door switch, motor, motor control unit and control panel may be responsible for drain problems.

Check the position of the drain hose. Ensure that the height is as specified by the manual or you get siphoning and drain does not end.

Access the drain filter. With most front loaders this located in front at the bottom in a corner, there should be a trim or an access panel.Top loaders have an access panel at the back, or more commonly the pump is accessed from underneath, bending the appliance on one side and securing it.

The machine has a pressure switch. It is a sensor connected to a long thin rubber hose. The pressure switch is often in control assembly. Clean the hose and the switch. One way to test the pressure switch is by blowing into the switch, but manufacturers say this must not be done as you can damage a good switch.
The pressure switch is difficult to test in full. Testing is done either reading voltages while machine is working or reading Ohms at the switch with tub empty and full. For safety reasons I suggest users to avoid performing tests or maintenance that must be done with power on.

Most machines have a tech booklet tucked inside the control panel assembly. You take off panel that is held by a couple of screws and see if there is the envelope with the sheet

Here a page about drain/spin problem.

Start checking drain hose and drain filter. If machine is a front loader the drain filter access is located behind the door at the front bottom side of the machine.

Drum wobbles front and back so on spin it goes out of control and shakes up and down electolux eco valve 6.5 kg front loader

Hi

Washing machines usualy have springs on the front and back which can sometimes snap or come loose. you can usualy see these by looking at it from beneath.

Also they have a ballast which is usualy a small piece of concrete attached to the bottom of the drum. This is to stop it from bouncing around as well. these also have a tendancy to either snap their fixings (Bolts) or split and fall off.

In either sutuation it should be fairly easy to repair. I have had both of these situations on a BEKO. got the parts from the NET.

Hope this helps.

The washer bounces during spin cycle

Front loaders don't like small loads. There's not enough clothing to settle around to balance it. Only do large loads.
