Very noisy on spin cycle only

LG 7.5 kg Front Loading washing machine which is very noisy on the spin cycle only. Sounds as thougsomething is loose. Machine is approximately 7 years old. Not sure if the Product in the drop down box below is the exact machine. This machine has a 30 minute quick cyle if that helps. Thanks

I'm having the same problem except the very loud noise I hear on the spin cycle sounds more like a boot is in the washing machine banging around.

Hi, please describe the type of noise you are hearing. If it is a grinding type noise, it is likely to be the drum bearing.

It only wash & don't spin? Then it stops and leak water by the door....

Its is a direct drive front loader with 7kg capacity for washing and 3.5kg capacity for drying.

when new
thats 7 kg with wet clothes and water
and only 3.5 kg wet clothes to dry

the older it gets the less weight it can wash and dry

worn motor or drum overload if it doesnt want to spin at all

leak at the door . replace the door seal ..is a most common fix

I have a LG 3 step 7. 2 kg, it washes fine but when it gets to the rinse and spin cycle it does not want to switch over, now I have a drum fulk of water and clothes

hi try tilting it back put a basin below the front filter door then check that the filter is clear

My LG Washing machine is not spinning. It also comes up with OE. Can you help

Check to see if the drain pump or drain pump filter are clogged. Sometimes objects that are put into the washing machine, for example combs, money, hair pins, etc. end up in the filter. Finally, if the drain line is clear and the pump seems to be clear and functioning properly, you may need to replace the drain pump assembly.
The most common problem with spinning on this model machine is the tub bearing. Normally it would be very noisy when it did spin.
Massive job to replace it.

Hi,i got a front loading washing machine direct drive.my problem is..the softner is going thru with the water to the drum immediately when it start spinning,supposed to be it the softner will release

Check in the user manual that you are using the correct compartment for the softener. On LG machines it is normally the middle compartment.

LG Front loading washer is noisy in spin cycle.

K this is a very complex job because it sounds like you may have coins (money) that has fallen between the gap. If this is the case, then the only way is to open up the back panel and look for it. However, I would not recommend doing it as the warranty will be void if you do. Now the stupid thing about this is a service tech will charge if it is coins lol. If it\'s the machine itself then it will be free provided it is still under warranty. Good luck!

sounds like damper rods are getting worn. they support bowl underneath.i think if u change them it should fix problem. is it noisy during spin?if u need more help please reply. please turn power off b4 working on it do not want any accidents.

Ariston Margarita 2000 NOISY spin cycle....

Remove drum drive belt, and spin drum by hand, if there is any resistance,. or it feels rough or noisy, the the main bearigs have probably failed.
If it is o/k then check motor for worn or noisy bearings,
